She was a young lady who dared to venture teaching at Horizon Lanka at a time most of the volunteers were unwilling to come due to the then political situation in the country. She was committed to what ever activity that was assigned to her and did it to perfection. She had a hard time teaching all five groups of students at Horizon Lanka despite her weekday schedule. She never complained but enjoyed doing hard work.
